Europe1 Ventures partnered with G4S, a leading global security provider, and helped the company launch their smart smoke and carbon monoxide detector in Estonia. We are G4S’s exclusive direct-to-customer sales partner, and in the fall we plan to expand to Latvia and Lithuania.

One of our core values at Europe1 Ventures is to only sell products that we deeply believe in and that change people’s lives for the better. This is one reason why we feel great about this partnership—we are saving lives every day! We already had an instance where one of our own dealer’s houses was saved from a fire by the smart detector. Nobody but the cat was home when an electric wire started burning and the house was filled with smoke. The smart smoke detector notified G4S, and they called our dealer immediately and sent in the fire brigade. Thanks to the smart detector, the house was saved from burning and even the cat survived!

That is the reason we are passionate about this new business and partnership with G4S—saving lives together!

Since establishing our partnership four months ago, over 5,000 households have ordered a smart smoke detector from us. This is about 0.8% of the households in Estonia. We have about 600,000 households total! Our team includes three outstanding team leaders, Eveli Lehtsalu, Oliver Reinaas, and Nikita Vlassenkov; as well as a great business manager, Kertu Pruus. We also have more than 80 students selling in over 100 different malls across Estonia.
