The services that we have at our fingertips in our family of companies are vast. We’ve been able to share a number of company successes from the past year despite a pandemic that threatened to slow down or even shut down businesses. It created an environment of uncertainty, and the housing industry would seem to be one of uncertainty with people trying to stay afloat.
Southwestern Real Estate wasn’t going to give in and allow the negative circumstances to stop them from making an impact. They gathered together at the start of 2021 to celebrate the past year’s successes and plan for the future. Working together and learning together are ingredients for reaching great goals, and that was exemplified in their Excellence Award panel discussion, where their top four contestants (Chris Kew, Don Hampton, Grant Greder, and Sydney Anne Dove) each shared what helped them have such a breakout year in 2020. All four of them grew over 200% last year, and the winner, Sydney Anne Dove (an Advantage Alumnus), grew over 500% and delivered a spirited, impactful story of how she went from $25,000 in gross commissions in 2019 to over $170,000 in 2020. She had announced to her group at the beginning of the year that she would win the Excellence Award, and by focusing and committing to her goal, she attained it!
Not only were there amazing individual accomplishments, but Southwestern Real Estate grew 35% in revenue this past year, retained 90% of their producing agents, and opened an office in Monterrey, Mexico. They currently also have offices in Chicago, Nashville, Miami, Houston, Dallas, and Lincoln, NE, and are close to opening offices in the Kansas City market, Homer, AK, and Gainesville, FL. Most people would have looked at them like they were crazy had they said that they would achieve as much during a pandemic, but they found a way and worked together to make it happen.
What Southwestern Real Estate offers is a story and experience that becomes part of the fabric of your life. Just this past year, Southwestern Real Estate had 12 Southwestern employees or alumni use their services to purchase or sell real estate.
