Pat Summitt retired as the winningest coach in college basketball history at the time. She was also a champion for gender equality, a champion for women, an educator who in 38 years of coaching graduated 100% of her athletes, a three-time New York Times best selling author, and the recipient of three Presidential Medals, 8 NCAA National Championships, Olympic medals as a coach and player, an ESPY Award, and honors and awards too numerous to list. It is through her championship models (specifically the iconic “Definite Dozen”) that The Pat Summitt Leadership Group educates and inspires.

In its successful “soft launch,” the book was featured and showcased on ESPN to well over 50-million people and posted on Instagram accounts from the likes of Robin Roberts (Good Morning America). 
We also have an official spokeswoman who is now a part of the Southwestern Family of Companies. A two-time olympic gold medal winner and a two-time WNBA MVP, Candace Parker. As a professional television sports commentator, Candace came to deliver a keynote speech at the SWFC Leadership Summit in Nashville, TN after hosting the dunk contest the night before at the NBA all-star game. We are very excited to welcome her to the family.
