NASHVILLE, Tenn., January 28, 2019 – Southwestern Consulting, a member company of Southwestern Family of Companies, announces today the promotion of Christa Acevedo to senior partner.
As senior partner and director of operations and recruiting, she will oversee the creation of new systems and processes to help the company continue to grow. She will work in tandem with the Southwestern Consulting senior leadership team to manage the company’s daily operations, further optimize the recruiting process, serve as a liaison between operations and sales, and direct major initiatives relating to training, customer service, events, and reporting.
“Nearly six years ago, the mission, values and creed of Southwestern Consulting attracted me to the company. Since joining, I have been constantly impressed by the ways in which Southwestern Consulting looks for opportunities to maximize and leverage everyone’s talent to the fullest potential,” says Acevedo. “As senior partner, I will continue to help our team members grow and develop according to our mission and values.”
Acevedo joined Southwestern Consulting in 2013 as executive assistant to Chief Executive Officer Dustin Hillis. She quickly transitioned to operations and recruiting coordinator and then to coaching business operations manager. She ensures that Southwestern Consulting achieves recruiting annual goals and created a new résumé review and recruiting qualification process to meet company goals.
“Her willingness to take on any challenge and get the job done is one of Acevedo’s greatest assets. She is an aggressive goal setter and a determined achiever,” says CEO Dustin Hillis. “She takes the initiative to grow her teams through creative efforts, and I am confident she will significantly contribute to the continued success of Southwestern Consulting in her new role.”
Originally from Bay City, MI, she currently resides in Nashville, TN with her family. Prior to joining Southwestern Family of Companies, Acevedo worked in ministry for more than eight years.
