Southwestern Advantage recently held the Great Recruiters Seminar 2 (GRS 2) for 250 of the top recruiters at the famous Brown Palace Hotel in Denver. GRS 2 is an annual meeting for US sales leaders, full-time recruiters, and key in-school recruiters where they learn from those leading the company in team-building and company leadership. Training topics included parts on schedule, attitude, strategies for the remaining recruiting season, how to collect prospects, inviting friends to informational sessions, how to close, conducting the interview and follow-up process, how to work with parents, creating a vision, preparing for Sales School, and building conviction. Speakers and trainers included the top performers in recruiting this year (in-school and full-time), District Sales Leaders, Dustin Hillis, Dan Moore, Mark Rau, and Trey Campbell.
The student dealers love traveling to different parts of the country, where they can add to their skill set, make new friends, and meet with their sales leaders and mentors in the company. Past recent meeting locations have included New Orleans, Chicago, and San Antonio. GRS 2 in 2020 was turned into a webinar due to COVID travel restrictions one week before the scheduled event.
“The GRS 2 event is an extraordinary opportunity for the sales leaders who are working to build their team, gain valuable skills, and learn from their peers. It’s an exciting time as they prepare to have a strong finish in recruiting, knowing the summer is fast approaching,” said Southwestern Advantage President, Dan Moore.
We were all excited to meet in person, and meeting precautions met the local safety rules for Denver, including temperature checks, social distancing and spaced seating, multiple meeting rooms, and mandatory masks.
