2020 has certainly brought up many unforeseen challenges for our country and our Family of Companies. Southwestern Real Estate is no exception. In the strong Southwestern tradition, we have found a way and have good news to report. Our theme for the year was Growth and Excellence, and we have demonstrated both.
Year to date, we are up 27% over this time last year and are on target to hit the original revenue budget we set before COVID.
Our highest producer, Carl Cho, has beat his best year ever of $501k gross commissions. Carl has earned $514k through the end of October. We are so grateful for his example of breaking through barriers and inspiring everyone else in the company.
So far this year, we have added 15 new agents and have several more in the interview process as we continue to pursue our goal of adding 20 agents in 2020. Real estate can have a slow build, so we will see a lot of growth from these recruits in 2021.
