Global Educational Concepts, Inc. is a designated sponsor of the U.S. Department of State’s J-1 Visa Summer Work Travel and Internship programs, supporting diplomacy through providing summer exchange programs for international students.

Since 2005, GEC has supported the public diplomacy opportunities that U.S. Department of State’s J-1 Visa Summer Work Travel and Internship programs offer participants, host families, and host employers. Full-time international students in the U.S. over a university academic summer break participate in the GEC international exchange program. They live, work and train across the country giving Americans a chance to learn about their cultures as they experience ours. GEC is a proud member of the Alliance for International Educational and Cultural Exchange and the World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation.
