NASHVILLE, Tenn., October 9, 2018 – Southwestern Family of Companies, one of the largest and oldest private corporations in Tennessee, announces the promotion of Beth Jackson to Vice President and Corporate Controller.
As Vice President and Corporate Controller, Jackson will oversee the accounting department and be responsible for payroll, accounts payable, tax, audit, budget, general ledger, consolidated financial reporting, cash management and staffing functions. Jackson will also work in tandem with Southwestern Family of Companies’ New Business Development Team, developing the accounting staff to support new businesses within the family of companies.

Jackson joined Southwestern Family of Companies in 1996. During her 22-year tenure at Southwestern Family of Companies, she has assisted with the implementation of SAP, the software system used for accounting and reporting. Her leadership ensured the on-budget and efficient implementation of the system.

Jackson graduated from Austin Peay State University in 1986. She lives with her husband Troy in Pleasant View, TN and they have two adult children, Trevor and Tiffany.
