ABOUT THE POSITION

The Social Media Intern is responsible for client and prospective client engagement on all social media channels.  This position is accountable for strategic development of content, creating monthly content calendars, and analytical reporting. The Social Media Intern will support the Wealth team and report to the Marketing Coordinator. This position is responsible for stewarding brand voices and developing effective storytelling on social media.  The Social Media Intern provides excellent customer service to team members and customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     

  • Manage the Wealth Team social media accounts and post content
  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator to create a plan for social media strategies
  • Engage with Wealth Team clients and prospective clients
  • Develop content ideas
  • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Assist in developing monthly social media content calendars
  • Report monthly analytics necessary to measure success of campaigns

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree program. Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in social media, marketing or equivalent course work
  • Proficient and up to date with current social media trends
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to execute accurately at a high level with limited supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and execute assigned work to achieve desired company and project goals with prudence and sense of urgency
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, communication and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to learn and invest passion and commitment towards the company vision
