ABOUT THE POSITION

The Marketing Coordinator implements and coordinates marketing strategies related to content management and branding, web presence and design, public relations and graphic design of logos and presentation templates.  This position reports to the Vice President (VP) of Marketing and is responsible for brand planning and development of marketing programs to support the business. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, reports, presentations, and handling a wide variety of other complex and confidential responsibilities.  This position prepares expense reports and completes invoice payment processes. The Marketing Coordinator provides excellent service to team members and customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Coordinate and implement the teams advertising and promotional activities
  • Responsible for creating, designing, and editing for publication all marketing pieces
  • Create campaigns, messages and content that optimize business strategies through social, digital, email and event
  • Provide strategic and tactical support in all creative areas. Coordinate print and on-line advertising, email marketing, website management and content development, press releases and marketing collateral.
  • Responsible for brand coordination to include all logos and designs as well as template designs to ensure consistency across multiple platforms
  • Analyze target market information and marketing analytics to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches
  • Online marketing, including: search engine optimization and marketing, e-mail marketing, web analytics, and social media
  • Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research
  • Coordinate the inside marketing initiatives for current clients to include events, meetings, and various communication pieces to ensure the brand is appropriately portrayed
  • Identify new and emerging strategies to increase brand awareness that will lead to business growth
  • Manage and maintain executive’s appointments by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel
  • Answer and direct calls to appropriate parties and take messages for the VP of Marketing
  • Open, sort, and distribute correspondence, including faxes and postal mail
  • Read and analyze emails, letters, agendas, memos and determine urgency for the VP; route to appropriate team members in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, memos, letters, reports and presentations including collecting and analyzing information
  • Manage and complete expense reports for the VP
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICIATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 3 years of experience in marketing and long-range planning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of market developments, strategies and practices
  • Marketing technology knowledge and skills including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Intercom, and Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of CMS, CRM, and SaaS systems
  • Experience with and knowledge of HTML, and CSS is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
