JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Coordinator is responsible for proper operation of all computers and devices to ensure end users can accomplish business tasks. This position is responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and ultimately accountable for actively resolving end user help requests and maintaining system continuity. The IT Coordinator will create or use detailed instructions, established procedures and prescribed guidelines to resolve technical issues and complete tasks for end users under limited supervision.  This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer.  Problem resolution may involve escalation or referral to a third-party support provider. The IT Coordinator provides excellent customer service to team members and customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:    

  • Accountable for actively resolving end user help requests and maintaining system continuity
  • Respond to incoming help requests from end users via telephone, e-mail and instant message in a professional and friendly manner
  • Serve as a first responder for technical support needs
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshot and identify solutions to resolve system issues. Escalate or refer user to appropriate third-party support when necessary.
  • Develop a partnership with team members to determine user needs and identify potential resolution
  • Partner and direct vendors, contractors and other business partners to achieve company objectives
  • Prioritize and schedule problem resolution
  • Record, track, and document requests through to final resolution
  • Troubleshoot system issues including video calls and Office 365
  • Setup and deploy user accounts and new computers
  • Manage inventory of end user devices and other related assets
  • Assist the Chief Operations Officer with all projects involving IT
  • Assist with creating a budget and monitor expenditures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years of experience in IT support within an office environment. Financial Services office environment experience a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Windows 10 and IOS environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud platform a plus
  • Must be capable of seeing a process through from beginning to end with a high level of accuracy
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information
  • Excellent customer service skills are required
  • Must be able to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
